catching up

Hello,

I know I know I'm awful not writing anything as I promised to our beautiful blog! It's great we have it so I think I'm the first person that should catch up. It looks Jeri you feel like you are at home in Japan. Good for you! But we want you to be here somewhere in Europe if you don't mind. How are you Rosa? How is your phd going?
I don't know what I should start from. HUGE CINGRATULATIONS to Rosa for Masters. Yes, the photo looks familiar to me.
About a month ago I had graduation ceremony here in London and this time all my family came, so it was lots of fun having them here. PhD is going really OK although I work hard but not as hard I worked during my lovely BEng in Galway. Sounds familiar? hahah

Since then I have never worked so hard! At least I promised to myself not to work over weekends so then we could do some stuff and some travelling. Unfortunately now I am limited with annual leave days and I won't go anywhere for vacations over summer because I have already used all my days at the beginning of the year for Christams, ski and windsurfing trips.
Maybe any of you are planning to come to London? You are very welcome and we are seriously missing you guys? I'd love to see you and hang out with four of us like we did long time ago.
Today London tube is on strike so I stayed at home for a whole day being so lazy so at least I tried to catch up with emaling, blogging and facebooking
I am looking forward to reading you stories and hopefully sooner than I wrote mine

Cheers

Master Graduation

Hey boys and girl!

I just thought I would write a really quick post to let you know I graduated from the Masters two weeks ago. It went well in the end, managed to get through all this and have a degree at the end of it which is a lot more than I expected. Just to show you what I look like at this stage here is a picture of the graduation (does it ring a familiar bell to you???):

It all went well although it seemed my supervisor wasn't around for it (which was actually a lot better than it it had been otherwise). This meant the day went smothly and I had no worries at all. Now I am finally installed in Barcelona, still waiting to get paid for what I do but sure some day this will come. And right now, with the crisis and all, it seems a grant is a good wa to go since you get it for 4 years here and hopefully the whole thing will be over and done with by then and will only be a small memory of the past.

Let us know how you are doing!! I know nothing about any of you!!!

Miss you!! And Barcelona is open to you whenever you want, remember!!!!!!!!!!

xx Rosa

A happy new year to everyone...

Hey gang,

Apparently I am now the only one posting blogs. Even Kuba is starving us of his usuall "witty" comments. No pics from Thailand either.

Apparently the Map from where this blog was visited refreshed a few months ago. As I was home at Xmas, I managed to put a spot in for Ireland. There are however no spots to be seen anywhere in Spain, and yes, that means Rosa hasnt visited the Blog in a few months, never mind put up a comment. No spot in Poland either, but there is one in London so I let you guys off.

Ok, thats about it, less than 2 months now until I get fired. Officially the reason is the global financial crisis but we all know its cause I am lazy and useless.

Who, knows, if someone visits this website I might even put up pics of my gf....

Anyway, happy new year to everyone and hope people will manage to read this in 2009.

Jeri
